The Specialist Equipment Pool comprises a range of inclusive equipment which is available to eligible child care services (excluding in-home care) to assist the inclusion of a child that has demonstrated an ongoing need for a high level of support in a child care environment.

Where the need has been demonstrated, the child care service is required to attach section A & B of  the Service Support Plan (SSP) and documentation identifying that the child has a disability with high ongoing support needs (e.g. copy of the Dr’s letter or the Health Care Card with CD on it ) to an Equipment Application Form and send directly to  Noah’s Ark for approval and processing. The equipment application form is available in PDF on this web site to  down load.

The following PDF files, Loans Process, Loans Policy, Sample template Section A&B of the SSP and Sample Loan Agreement Form  on this web site provide the service with information about accessing  equipment.  Adobe reader will be required on your computer to download all these files.

Applications can be posted, faxed  or emailed.

On receipt of the application Noah’s Ark will contact  your service within  2 business days to update you on the outcome of your application.
Once the application is approved and processed the service will receive documentation regarding the loan. The  service is required to sign the Loan Agreement form and return it to Noah’s Ark.   The equipment is then  delivered by couriers and/or Queensland rail  to the service free of charge.
