Contact Noahs Ark

Noah's Ark specialises in the provision of learning materials and educaitonal resources that assist children with disabilites or additional needs to develop skills in the following areas:

Literacy and numeracy skills, social interaction, language development, fine and gross motor skills, sensory development, self help skills and many more.

How can we help schools?
You tell us what learning development areas you are targeting with your students, and we will coordinate the appropriate resources for you to assist you in your classroom.

For example: if you tell us that you require resources that focus on language development for children of a certain age and ability, then we will idenitfy from our library resources that will assist you with this, and send them on to you. Alternatively, school staff can also visit Noah's Ark and 'hand pick' resources themselves.

We can also provide you with advice and information about what resources could be appropriate for the learning/development areas you are addressing and how they can best be used.

How does it work?
First you need to become a member. For schools, there is an annual membership fee, which is dependent on your needs and the amount of resources you require.

For resources that are delivered, you will receive between two and fifteen resources (depending on your membership) per eight week period. The resources are usually couriered to you and collected during subsequent deliveries, which is all included in your membership. This is known as a 'School Run'.

All you need to do, is fax an order form to us two weeks before your next school run so that we can have it ready to go out to you. You will receive a copy of all your upcoming school runs when you become a member.

For school members who wich to come into Noah's Ark to exchange their resources, they can do so on a month to month basis.

Resource request forms
Noah's Ark Resource resquest forms are broken up into the many different learning and development areas that the centre provides resources for.

All you need to do, is tick which learning and development areas you need to target, and we will get the resources to you.

Simply complete a Resource Request Form and fax it over to us within the requested time frames and we take care of the rest, it's that easy!

What are some of the benefits?

  1. You save time researching, identifying and purchasing resources to assist you in the classroom.
  2. You receive a variety of resources for your money, so as children's needs change and they meet the challenges of one resource, they will receive a new one based on their individual learning needs.
  3. You can access expert advice from Noah's Ark advisors, who have backgrounds in special education, occupational therapy and disability.
