Noah’s Ark Children’s Services Resource Unit.
The Noah’s Ark Children’s Services Resource Unit was established in November 2006 under contract from the Professional Support Co-ordinating Unit of Queensland, PSCQ.
The unit, funded by the Australian Government, is part of the Inclusion and Professional Support Program which aims to support children’s services to build their capacity to create an environment and opportunities for children to participate in universal learning and development activities that are developmentally appropriate as well as culturally and linguistically sensitive.
The unit is situated in South Brisbane and provides two library services to all eligible children’s services throughout the state of Queensland.
Noah’s Ark Resource Library and Advisory Service
The Resource Library provides up to date information on resources a on child care practices and research findings and assist in meeting the inclusion and professional support needs of child care services.
Noah’s Ark Specialist Equipment Loans Program.
The Specialist equipment program comprises a range of equipment and resources available on loan to childcare services to support the inclusion of children with high ongoing support needs.
