Noah's Ark Resource Centre, at 20 Norman Street, East Brisbane, provides a wide range of toys and equipment, some specially designed and adapted for children with special needs. We also have children’s books and audiovisual and electronic resources, and books for parents and professionals.  Advisory staff can assist in choosing appropriate toys for children and students.

Types of Memberships

Community Membership
General members of the community.

Group Membership
Includes any Organisation or Centre which provides a service to children with additional needs.  These may include Special Schools and Units, intervention programmes, support groups, childcare services, pre-schools, kindergartens and hospitals.

Country Membership
A postal and advisory service for families with children who have disabilities or special needs, and who live in rural or remote areas of Queensland.

Sole Therapists
For sole therapists,whether in Brisbane or in rural or remote areas.

Additional Needs
For people who care for a child with a disability or additional needs.

ABIQ (Autism Behaviour Intervention Qld) Membership
Discounted membership is available for members of Autism Behavioural Intervention Queensland, who may then also borrow from the ABIQ collection held at Noah's Ark (East Brisbane).

Loan Period
The borrowing period is usually for one month, with the possibility of extension for a further month depending on demand; or two months for members receiving postal or courier delivery.

Opening Hours
Appointments are recommended if you wish to speak with an Adviser. This enables Families adequate time with an Adviser if needed.  We request this to help us provide the best service to all Clients.


Tuesday - Friday and Saturday mornings are all APPOINTMENT FREE
