NOAHS ARK RESOURCE CENTRE is contracted by the Australian Government to deliver Inclusion Support Agency services in the following two regions, BRISBANE NORTH and WIDE BAY BURNETT.

Inclusion Support Agencies are part of the Inclusion and Professional Support Program (IPSP), a new integrated approach to meeting the professional and inclusion support needs of child care services.

Each Inclusion Support Agency manages a network of skilled Inclusion Support Facilitators who work at a local level with child care services to:

1. Build their capacity to create an inclusive environment for all children and families, that supports their wellbeing and development.
2. Promote the awareness of and responsiveness to the following priority groups:

• children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including refugee children
  
  
• children with ongoing high support needs including children with a disability
  
  
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
  

Services that are eligible to access inclusion support are:

• Australian Government approved Child Care Services, including both private and community centre based long day care, outside school hours care including vacation care, family day care, occasional care, and in-home care.
  
  
• Australian Government funded non-mainstream child care services (non-Child Care Benefit) such as flexible/multifunctional services, Multifunctional Aboriginal Children's Services (MACS), non-mainstream outside school hours care, non-formula funded occasional care (100 per cent Australian Government funded) and mobile child care services.
