Specialist Services for Inclusive Practice & Enhanced Educational Outcomes for Children
Noah's Ark

Important Update: Adult Supervision Required

As part of internal processes, Noah’s Ark has just reviewed all its documentation in relation to the library and loaning of items.

As such there has been a change that we need to make you aware of.

All of our resources including Specialist Equipment and Aids should be used under supervision of a responsible adult.  Regardless of the physical age of a child, it is important the adequate supervision is provided.

All loans will be provided with the understanding that you have acknowledged this requirement and will actively undertake supervision or someone in your organisation will when children are using our resources, equipment or aids.

Building on over 35 years of experience, knowledge and resources in childhood development focused on educational outcomes, Noah's Ark is proud to launch the Professional Educators' Resource Library (PERL).

Access to the library and advisory service is by subscription only.

Our Services

These services are funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments.

This program is accessible by sessional, stand alone Kindergartens operating in Queensland and provides educational resources and advice to capacity build teachers for the benefit of better educational outcomes for children.  In addition, this program provides access to specialist equipment for Kindergartens to enable inclusive practice for children with disabilities and additional needs after a Therapist has made a recommendation for the equipment.

  • Inclusion & Professional Support Program (IPSP) - Specialist Equipment

This program loans equipment and aids to Australian Government approved Early Childhood Education and Care Services (ECEC) (Excluding in-home care) who wish to build on their capacity to assist the inclusion of a child who has demonstrated ongoing high support needs.

  • Inclusion & Professional Support Program (IPSP) - Inclusion Support Agency Brisbane North

The Inclusion Support Agency services the Brisbane North Region (includes Caboolture, Samford, Redcliffe, Deception Bay, North Lakes, Pine Rivers, Bribie Island and surrounding suburbs) which supports the professional and inclusion support needs of Early Childhood Education and Care Services (ECEC). This includes building the capacity of services to create an inclusive environment for children and families that support their well being and development. The program also promotes the awareness of and responsiveness to the following priority groups:

children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including refugee children;

children with ongoing high support needs including children with a disability;

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

Noah's Arks Resource Library has a wide range of resources and kits some of which are designed and adapted for children with disabilities or special needs.  These resources work on developmental milestones and are relevant for children's development.  Access to this library is via membership for families or via subscription to PERL for educators.  An advisory service is available to provide guidance on the selection and use of resources.  Membership to this library is often recommended by therapists and educators to enhance developmental outcomes in the home environment.
