Noah’s Ark Resource Library and Advisory Service provides these fact sheets to Children’s Services, Inclusion Support Agencies and other professionals within the children’s Services Industry.

The facts on this web site are designed to give the reader  some initial information on a particular topic to assist in the inclusion process. Each fact sheet is developed with a holistic approach and it is important that each staff  remember that each child and family will be different and individual.

It is also important to gain information from the parents in regards to additional support, goals and hopes of that family. The strategies are just some examples which may be applied to support the inclusion process. The list is only the start and it is dependant on a variety of factors such as environment, length of time child is in care, child’s interest, likes, dislikes and skills already achieved. In some of the Fact Sheets the strategies are divided into developmental areas however some strategies overlap and assist in a variety of developmental areas.
